Trading in the web shop

The following terms and conditions of sale and trading apply to all trading on www.keepitsimplestupid.dk. By trading on the website you confirm that you have read and accepted the terms and conditions of sale and trading. Therefore, please read the terms and conditions carefully before making a purchase. Deviations from this basic agreement are valid only if KISS keep.it.simple.stupid. has given written approval.

Contractual basis for ordering

When you shop at www.keepitsimplestupid.dk you can enter into an agreement in the following languages:

  • English
  • Danish


Orders can only be made through the website. When ordering a product on www.keepitsimplestupid.dk you will receive a receipt for your purchase on your screen and by email. The receipt is an automatic confirmation that we have received your order. After our order approval, you will receive another e-mail with an order confirmation and an invoice. Upon receipt of this, the order is binding.

Payment by payment card

Payments on www.keepitsimplestupid.dk can be made by payment card or via PayPal.

Payments in the webshop can be made with the following payment cards:

  • Dankort and Visa / Dankort
  • Visa
  • MasterCard
  • Maestro
  • JCB


Payments by private cards issued in the EEA (European Economic Area) is free of charge.

Payment with corporate cards and private cards issued outside the EEA (European Economic Area) will be charged a fee. The fee is calculated from the purchase price and the selected payment card. In all payments, you will be informed of the amount of the fee before you approve the total amount of the purchase.

The rates below stated are indicative and can vary:

  • Purchases with Danish issued corporate cards incur a charge of approximately 1.5% of the purchase amount
  • Purchases of foreign-issued corporate cards and private cards issued outside the EEA, are subject to a fee of approximately 2.9 – 3.75% of the purchase amount


The amount on your payment card will only be raised when the item is shipped from stock.

Processing of card information

When you shop at www.keepitsimplestupid.dk, the card information is processed by Bambora which is a secure electronic payment solution. All card information is handled in accordance with the card organization’s rules.

All payment information is treated confidentially. No information about the payment is saved after it has been completed. All payment information at www.keepitsimplestupid.dk is encrypted between your computer and PBS (the banks’ payment service) with the so-called SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. This means that neither KISS keep.it.simple.stupid. ApS nor any third party can read your payment information. It is therefore completely safe to shop in our webshop.

Payments via PayPal

You can either log in as a guest or create an account via e-mail address and password to pay an order. Once this has been done, you will be able to pay by PayPal.

  • Purchases in DKK (Danish kroner) are free, regardless of whether you use your balance or an affiliated card
  • Fees for purchase are always imposed on KISS. keep.it.simple.stupid. ApS
  • A purchase is subject to a fee only if it involves a currency exchange


Payment will be deducted from your account at the conclusion of the purchase.

The amount that you have approved at the time of purchase can never be exceeded. This applies for payments with payment cards and via PayPal. All costs for the order are shown before the purchase is completed – including any card fees and shipping costs.


All prices of products and shipping costs on www.keepitsimplestupid.dk are stated in DKK (in Danish) and Euro (in English) and include 25% VAT. This is automatically added to the prices in the webshop.

www.keepitsimplestupid.dk gives the purchaser the option of paying in the following currencies: DKK, SEK, NOK, Euro, GBP and USD.

For payment in a currency other than Danish DKK, the currency is translated based on the Danish exchange rate at the time of purchase.

For sale to non-EU countries, the VAT is automatically deducted before acceptance of the purchase in the webshop.

Delivery against payment

With payment of shipping charges we offer delivery to a wide range of countries both inside and outside Europe.
The total list of countries we offer to deliver to can be seen at checkout in the webshop or in the “Shipping” section under the heading FAQs.

For countries for which www.keepitsimplestupid.dk does not offer free shipping, the buyer pays all delivery and shipping costs – and any applicable customs charges and taxes connected to the purchase.

The shipping cost depends on the destination, weight and volume, and is added to the purchase price which includes VAT for purchases within the EU and excludes VAT for purchases outside the EU. The shipping cost is shown separately during the purchase process.


Unless otherwise agreed separately between the buyer and www.keepitsimplestupid.dk, it is KISS keep.it.simple.stupid. that selects the shipper to the delivery address specified by the purchaser.

KISS keep.it.simple.stupid. uses the following shippers in Europe:

Delivery terms and conditions

Delivery is made in cooperation with our distribution partner Dansk e-Logistik. All items are dispatched from the Danish e-Logistics warehouse as parcel post or by courier. The shipping method depends on product size and the selected destination. On shipment from stock you will receive by e-mail a track and trace link that will allow you to follow the shipment of your item.

The procedure regarding distribution may differ from one distributor to another. If your package has been delivered – and you are not at home – the distributor will usually contact you (via e-mail, SMS, phone call, etc.) with information about which package store your items may be picked up – or to make a new delivery agreement. It is also possible that the freight company may contact you prior to delivery in order to make an appointment for date and time.

The basic shipping price only covers delivery to the curb. Therefore, it can be a good idea to check how your shipper can assist you in getting large items of furniture delivered indoors. If you are not home at the estimated time of delivery, it can also be a good idea to contact the shipper to make a more detailed agreement on the place of delivery (for example, in your garage or with a neighbour). Note that such an agreement will always be at your own risk.

The goods are insured in transit, and on receipt, please check the package contents. If the package and / or contents are damaged upon receipt, you must report this to the shipper immediately. KISS keep.it.simple.stupid. is not responsible for goods damaged in transit.

As soon as the purchaser has received the item, it is considered as delivered. The purchaser takes over the risk of the product upon delivery.

Delivery time

Orders received on weekdays before 12.00 noon (Danish time) are dispatched from stock on the same day. With orders made after 12.00 noon (Danish time) – or on weekends – the item is shipped from stock on the following working day.

Depending on the destination, delivery usually takes place within the following number of working days. These delivery times are indicative and may vary.

  • In Denmark – 1 day (day to day)
  • Outside Denmark – 2-8 days

Right of Cancellation

For how long can I cancel my purchase?

You can return goods within 14 days when you shop with us.

The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you received your item, or from the day you received the last item in physical possession if it is an order for several items ordered in one order and delivered individually. If the goods consist of several lots or parts, the cancellation period expires 14 days after the date you receive the last lot or the last part in physical possession.

You must, within 14 days of receipt, inform us that you wish to cancel your purchase by sending us an e-mail at webshop@keepitsimplestupid.dk. In your message, make us clearly aware that you wish to exercise your right of cancellation.

In the event of a cancellation of your purchase, we ask you to download, print and fill out our return form and send it back with the goods.

You cannot cancel just by refusing to receive the item without giving us clear notice of this.

Return the cancellation of purchase

You must send your item back to us without undue delay – and within 14 days after you have notified us that you want to cancel your purchase. You must incur the direct costs of the item’s return shipment to our warehouse.

Missing original packaging may be an impairment, so to be sure to receive all the money back, it is recommended that the product is returned in the original packaging.

Certain goods cannot, by their nature, be returned by normal post. This applies to large items like sofas, dining tables, chairs, etc.

Goods excluded from the right of cancellation

The following product types are excluded from the right of cancellation:

  • Delivery of goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.


If KISS keep.it.simple.stupid. sells items that are custom made or customised individually according to the purchaser’s requirements, the right of cancellation will only apply until the manufacturing or customisation of the item has commenced.

The condition of the product when you return it

You will only be liable for any deterioration of the value of the item if handling of it differs from that required to determine the nature, characteristics and function of the item. In other words, you can test the product in the same way as if you tested it in a physical store, but you should not put it to real use.

If the product is tested in addition to what is described above, we consider it to have been used, which means that, in the case of cancellation of the purchase, only some, or none, of the purchase amount will be returned, depending on the commercial value of the item.

Repayment of the purchase amount

If you regret your purchase, you will of course receive the refunded amount. In the event of an impairment that you are liable for, it will be deducted from the purchase price.

If you use your right of cancellation, we will refund all of your expenses – including, if applicable, delivery costs associated with the purchase (however excluding extra costs due to your choice of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery that we offer) without undue delay, and in any case within 14 days from the date we received your notice of your decision to withdraw from the agreement. We make such a repayment with the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the product.

If you wish to use your right of cancellation, you must pay for the return shipment, unless otherwise agreed.

The completed return form and a copy of the documentation for the purchase of the item must be enclosed in the package.

Please note that return is made at the purchaser’s sole responsibility – it is the purchaser who carries the risk of the goods from the time of delivery until the return has arrived at our warehouse. Therefore, always be sure to get a tracking number on your return shipment or parcel.

We do not accept packages that are not delivered to us or packages sent cash on delivery.

For how long can I make a complaint about my purchase?

The deficiency provisions of the Danish Sale of Goods Act can apply to purchases of goods.

When you shop at www.keepitsimplestupid.dk you have a 24 month warranty as a consumer. This means that you can get the item repaired, or exchanged, or your money back, or a price reduction – depending on the specific situation. Obviously, it is a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect has not arisen due to incorrect use of the product or other damaging behaviour.

How quickly do I have to submit a complaint about my purchase?

You must submit your claim within a “reasonable time” after finding the defect in the product. If you do so within 2 months after the defect is found, the complaint is always within the time limit.

If your claim is justified, we will of course refund your (reasonable) shipping costs. The product must always be returned in protective packaging, and be sure to get a receipt for the shipment for use for the refund.

For you to enter into an agreement with us, we need the following information:

  • E-mail address


We record your personal information for the purpose of being able to deliver the products to you.

The personal data is registered with KISS keep.it.simple.stupid. ApS and is kept for five years, after which the information is deleted.

When collecting personal information through our website, we ensure that it is always done with the provision of your express consent, so that you are informed regarding exactly what information is collected and why.

Information provided to www.keepitsimplestupid.dk is never disclosed or sold to third parties and we do not register any personally sensitive information. If you are set up as a user, we will save the information you have entered (name, address, e-mail and phone number) and only use the information to process your order.

The information you provide in connection with the submission of your order, is used solely in relation to the collection, payment and shipping of your product.

The Directors of KISS keep.it.simple.stupid. ApS, Mirja Larsen and Lars Steiner Nymand, have access to the information that is registered about you.

We make reservation for typing errors, divergent colour rendering on images of products, out-of-stock items, VAT and tax changes, price increases from suppliers and Force Majeure.

We make reservation for out-of-stock items, but, of course, will notify you if a product is sold out immediately after we have received your order.
